Understanding Your Cholesterol Numbers: What Your Doctor Doesn't Tell You

Total Cholesterol / HDL Ratio
This ratio better predicts cardiovascular risk than total cholesterol alone.

LDL Particle Number (LDL-P) and Size
Standard LDL testing measures the concentration of cholesterol carried by LDL particles. But LDL-P (particle number) is a better predictor of risk.
